Valley Woodcraft has been providing clients with quality craftsmanship since 1952 manufacturing high precision wood and phenolic products to meet specifications of aerospace, industrial and commercial markets. Like many businesses, Valley Woodcraft has experienced competitive pressure in an industry with slim margins and quick turn around demand.
They needed to reposition their brand in order to create a memorable and favorable connection with their customers. Need It Now! became their promise – a guarantee to ship components on time or they would pay a penalty, actually including the penalty check with shipment.
Now to create the experience in which to wrap that promise. Direct mailers were created that were unlike anything else a purchasing agent might receive. A new website put the Need It Now! promise front and center and Valley Woodcraft followed up with phone calls to targeted customers during which a powerpoint presentation was presented via the web.
The response was immediate. This new brand position coupled with Valley Woodcraft’s continuing commitment to quality has spurred new business and the company is moving to a larger facility in February 2007.
